What are Man-Lifts exactly?
Man-Lifts are the safest and fastest method to work at height and can refer to scissor lifts, articulated or telescopic boom lifts. Browse our gallery to see some of our units in operation.
I’m scared it may tip over?
All our Man-Lifts are equipped with state of the art tilt and load sensors, and a various other safety systems, preventing the operator from doing anything unsafe.
How do I know what Man-Lift I need?
Our friendly staff will assist you in selecting the most appropriate and cost effective unit for the job. Electric or diesel, scissor or boom, straight or articulated, narrow access, uneven ground surface, we will help you every step of the way.
Can I do a short term rental?
Of course : we offer daily, weekly, monthly and yearly rentals
Who can operate the Man-Lift? Is a special licence required?
No special license is required since the Lebanese law do not request any license. So Anyone can operate our equipments, our units are very simple to use. However, we offer familiarisation training with every man-lift rental free of charge.
What about safety?
All our equipment is incredibly safe however we do recommend appropriate safety equipment be used depending on the type of machine used, the height required and work being performed. You may need safety shoes, a safety helmet and in the case of any boom lift we strongly recommend a full-body safety harness. Please note these personal safety equipments are not supplied by MAHMOUD KURDI TRADING EST.
Do I need an account to hire from you?
Not at all, you can hire on a cash basis. There is a bit of paperwork to fill in of course.
Do I need to collect or can you deliver?
We prefer to deliver due to insurance considerations. We deliver to any site all over Lebanon.
What else do I need to know?
Insurance, liability, legalities etc. are all included in our standard terms and conditions, a copy of which we will gladly provide.
Do you offer training?
Absolutely, we want to protect you and our equipment! Full familiarisation training is provided with each rental and at no additional cost. We can also provide operators with a certificate valid for 12 months.
Is it expensive?
Pricing is a subjective issue. We offer value in terms of safety and productivity. Depending on what you require. Get a free price quote from our friendly sales staff and see for yourself.
I’m not sure how long I’ll need it?
That’s ok, estimate the rental period. If you need more time, simply extend the rental. Finished quicker than expected? We will gladly refund you the difference.
